When a page on your site doesn't load, an error message will be shown to the website visitor. Since there are different errors, there are different pages which will display, but what is common for all of them is that they are generic and in all probability will have practically nothing that resembles the design of your site, which could be irritating for any website visitor. This is the reason why web hosting service providers have introduced a function known as Custom Error Pages. For a wide variety of different errors, visitors shall see your custom content, which may be informative or amusing, in accordance with your choice, and which shall match the overall design of your site, so the pages shall not appear as if they're not part of your Internet site at all. Custom Error Pages in Cloud Website Hosting
You'll be able to set up custom error pages for all of your sites effortlessly if you use any of our
cloud website hosting plans. This could be done via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP, which comes with all accounts and once you go there, you can set your customized pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You should upload the files to your account in advance and input the links to them through the process. This feature can be de-activated whenever you want and the options you'll be able to choose from are a generic page from our system or a default Apache server page. Custom error pages can be set with an .htaccess file too. The file should be put in the domain or subdomain folder and it should contain some system code and links to the pages. If you aren't tech-savvy, you could copy the whole content you'll need for the file from our Help section.
