Q: How much time will the website migration procedure take?
A: We strive to perform all website migrations as fast as possible. However, we don’t have a fixed time frame for website migrations. There are several variables that you have to consider – the sheer size of your web site and the workload of our web site migration team, etc. We constantly strive to accomplish each migration within 48 hours. With smaller websites, our staff typically manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

Q: My privacy is important to me. What information do you need?
A: Yup. We’ll require the name of the web site that you wish us to move. We’ll also require a means to access your present hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

Q: My present web hosting account has sensitive info inside. How can I trust you?

Q: What about downtime? Will my web site be offline?
A: No. Your web site will remain online during the migration. Once everything is done on our end, we will inform you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is fine, all you will have to do is change your domain name’s DNS resource records.

Q: Will my old hosting provider have to do anything?
A: Nah. Aside from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we do not need anything. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

Q: Does it matter what platform my current hosting provider is using?
A: Yup. We support all regular Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, because we don’t offer Windows hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary website creation and administration tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
